3D images
Submitted by robertgrimm on Mon, 02/15/2010 - 18:53In the Summer of 2009, I went to the Columbus Zombie Walk. I took along my 3D Nishika N9000 camera loaded with Ilford FP4+ black and white film. Because my air conditioner wasn't working, the darkroom was too hot to process film. I recently developed the rolls and started scanning them. I will be posting the pictures to the 3D gallery as animated GIFs. I chose this method because it does not require the use of 3D glasses, allowing anyone to see them on their computer.
Two Hours Later
Submitted by robertgrimm on Sat, 01/09/2010 - 17:27I love Drupal. In only two hours, I now have a much nicer looking web site with all of my pictures from the old site. The old one took months to build from scratch using PHP. I'm not sure I'm going to keep it looking like it does now, but that is part of the beauty of Drupal. I can change the theme at any time.
New Site and Updates
Submitted by robertgrimm on Sat, 01/09/2010 - 16:28I grew tired of my old web site. It was hand built. I'm no web designer, so it looked really bad. I just put my new site online. It still isn't complete, but it looks much better than the old one. I'm still adding images from the old site. At the moment, I only have a few of the old galleries imported.
I have neglected my web page for a long time. Part of this is because I hated dealing with the manual nature of the site construction. Part of it was because I have not done much digital photography in the last year. I have moved mostly into film. Since a film image is not complete until it has been printed and I only just got my darkroom set up to be able to print, I have not finished many images.
My next upgrade to the darkroom setup after getting a bulk loader to cut my film costs will be to set up color printing. There is no way I can develop color film in a darkroom as small as mine, but I should be able to print color pictures that I have had a lab develop.
