Ghost Dog

Ghost Dog

This image started out as an accident. The camera I used for this one leaves the film leader sticking out of the cartridge. I usually mark them when they're exposed, but this one somehow got loaded a second time. After a bit of dodging in the darkroom and a little touching up in Photoshop, it turned into something I like.

New Site and Updates

I grew tired of my old web site. It was hand built. I'm no web designer, so it looked really bad. I just put my new site online. It still isn't complete, but it looks much better than the old one. I'm still adding images from the old site. At the moment, I only have a few of the old galleries imported.

I have neglected my web page for a long time. Part of this is because I hated dealing with the manual nature of the site construction. Part of it was because I have not done much digital photography in the last year. I have moved mostly into film. Since a film image is not complete until it has been printed and I only just got my darkroom set up to be able to print, I have not finished many images.

My next upgrade to the darkroom setup after getting a bulk loader to cut my film costs will be to set up color printing. There is no way I can develop color film in a darkroom as small as mine, but I should be able to print color pictures that I have had a lab develop.
